This course will deal with the physiological, psychological, sociocultural, theological, and spiritual aspects of human sexuality, with particular emphasis on ministry/counseling-related issues. Three graduate hours.
COURSE LEARNING OBJECTIVE
1.Acquire accurate knowledge about human sexuality.
2.Develop a biblical framework for dealing with human sexuality.
3.Develop a definition of healthy sexual functioning.
4.Become aware of one’s own attitudes about sexuality.
5.Become comfortable dealing with the subject of sexuality.
6.Be able to identify typical psychosexual problems.
7.Explore ministry approaches to sexual problems.
